Mother is your local plant shop fosters a sense of community and facilitate education in the plant world – encouraging mindfulness and connection through nurturing! Mother's mission is to bring people together though a shared love of plants, regardless of how green your thumb is :)

To introduce the brand's wholesome personality and gather compassionate, young people who care about their community, we created a logo that felt like home – like the sticker on your bike or the patch on your backpack. The brand identity is expanded through leaf-like graphics that originate from the shapes in logo suite, using thin outlines as to let the actual leaves shine. The color palette is earthy and dirty, like it's been worn out over time.

Given that Mother offers hands-on workshops, a large component of the brand system is photography that emphasizes textures in nature – mushroom gills, wood grain, woven materials, and paper.
We bring these brand elements together in an energetic way, layering them on top of one another to create a scrapbook feel while also clearly communicating Mother's values, mission, and vision in the friendly and approachable copy.
